Council
Meeting, October 14-15, 2002
The GEF Council develops, adopts,
and evaluates GEF programs. Its 32
members represent 16 developing countries, 14 developed countries, and two
countries with transitional economies. The Council meets semi-annually, or more
often if necessary.
